Contemporary woven sculptor Mark Ford has just completed an installation at Queen Elizabeth Country Park and ChiCycle provided a sound system to play Keith Sutton’s ambient synth music at the sculpture’s opening event. Government guidelines restricted the number of people able to attend but nonetheless we still held an enjoyable picnic event and everyone enjoyed meeting up for an outdoor event. Torrential rain cleared up just in time for people to ride to the event in dry (ish) weather. Light drizzle at the beginning of the picnic soon cleared up as more people arrived. This is the 2nd of our after work Friday bike rides on the Chichester Pop-Up Cycleway Cyclists have been temporarily allocated extra road-space in Chichester through the new Pop-Up cycle scheme. The Pop-Up cycle scheme has its imperfections but we need to show there is strong support in Chichester for road-space being set aside for safer cycling.
