ChiCycle Test Out GoPro3+ for Videos Made From a Bike
Sarah Sharp has kindly loaned out her (deceased) husband’s GoPro3+ so ChiCycle members can make video content. Bill Sharp’s action camera may prove particularly handy for filming the Bike Bus and Trishaw projects.
It has a handy remote control to switch modes and to start and stop recording. This will be handy if the camera is mounted somewhere difficult to operate like on a bike helmet.
There is also a useful time lapse mode, ideal for showing progress during project work and to show participation with events.
I’ve made a few video test clips to indicate what can be seen if the camera is attached to a bike. The kit includes plenty of accessories available to mount the camera and additional mounting adapters are readily available on line.
A YouTube playlist of test videos is available on the link below.
