Bike Tales is a narrative podcast series discovering the stories behind the people and places in biking cities. Season One was recorded in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. Season two is currently in production and will focus on Chichester in the UK.

ChiCycle members met up with Clare Mansell at the 2022 26th Nov Mayday Action Group Protest. Clare runs storysolutions.net which is a business specialising in audio & video post-production.

We immediately knew Clare was a media professional when she met us at the Market Cross on her long tail cargo bike. Not only does she have an audio recorder with high quality XLR microphone connectors but she clearly knows how to use it to do fantastic interviews.

It is almost too good to believe Clare is turning her skills and attention to the stories of people cycling in and around Chichester district. She aims to make a series of at least 12 podcasts exploring how opportunities for sustainable cycling are developing in our flat coastal region with a high population density that’s geographically similar to the Netherlands.
