23rd September Great ChiCycle Cargo-Bike Ride-Out to Deliver the Sound-Stage for the Havant Climate Alliance Eco Fair

Update

Unfortunately, several key members of the ChiCycle team we unavailable on the day of the event and sadly the equipment could not be delivered using cargo bikes.

Nonetheless, Martin Emmett & Chris Penycate set up the sound stage equipment at Havant Park allowing the event to be enhanced by live music acts.

Original Post

We need every ChiCycle supporter we can find to help pilot cargo-bikes carrying the ChiCycle Sound-Stage from Chichester to Havant (and then back again afterwards) to support the Havant Climate Alliance Eco Fair on the 23rd September!

The more people we have participating in the “Great ChiCycle Cargo-Bike Ride-Out”, the more fun it will be. Heavy load lifting Cargo bikes like the Christiana Trike are hard work to ride over the entire 15km route between Chichester and Havant. We hope to have enough participants so we can have fresh cargo bike riders swap seats at the roughly half way point at Nutbourne Station.

Please get in touch if you can help ride a cargo bike or help set up a sound stage at this years Havant Climate Alliance Eco Fair event on the 23rd September.

Last years ChiCycle’s attendance at the event was a great success with Keith Sutton, John-Paul Rogers, Sarah & Bill Sharp, & Mark Record carrying the sound-stage to and from the Havant event.

The image below shows Sarah Sharp having done some shopping at the event stalls after delivering parts of the sound system to the event using her Christiana Cargo Trike.
