Typical copper conductor resistances taken from RS data sheets…

Copper 0.5mm2 cross section area wire conductors have resistance of approximately 39Ω/km, they must be protected with a 3 Amp fuse (lower value fuse rating is permissible)

Copper 0.75mm2 cross section area wire conductors have resistance of approximately 26Ω/km, they must be protected with a 5 Amp fuse (lower value fuse rating is permissible)

Copper 1.00mm2 cross section area wire conductors have resistance of approximately 19.5 Ω/km, they must be protected with a 10 Amp fuse (lower value fuse rating is permissible)

Copper 1.25mm2 cross section area wire conductors have resistance of approximately 15.5 Ω/km, they must be protected with a 13 Amp fuse (lower value fuse rating is permissible)
